Palin Lies, Gets Her Information Off Cups

Interesting story by Nico Pitney at The Huffington Post. Seems our favorite brain-dead governor/VP candidate was examining her “Starbucks mocha cup”, upon which the following quote from former Secretary of State Madeline Albright was printed:

There is a special place in hell for women who don’t help other women.

(Emphasis added.)

She relayed this to a crowd of drones at a rally in California, except she misquoted Ms. Albright. Governor Failin, making sure to give credit to Ms. Albright for something she did not say, announced:

I’m reading on my Starbucks mocha cup, okay? The quote of the day… It was Madeleine Albright, former Secretary of State and UN ambassador. … Now she said it, I didn’t. She said, ‘There’s a place in Hell reserved for women who don’t support other women.’

Now, Governor Failin, your comment raises two important points.

Republicans can’t call Democrats “Latte Liberals” anymore. That alliterative affront has lost all meaning in light of the fact that you enjoy the Starbucks too.
Whatever the context of the Albright quote, I really doubt that Ms. Albright meant it to apply to admonishing women into either voting for another woman, or face eternal damnation. In any case, I seriously doubt Ms. Albright would consider it “support” (your word, not hers) to other women, to vote in a theocrat who has forced rape victims to pay for their own rape kits, which cost thousands of dollars. I doubt Ms. Albright would consider it “support” to vote in a pawn in the party of corporate oligarchs who opposed the Fair Pay Restoration Act, which was designed to ensure equal pay for women and minorities. Indeed, it would be more of a “help” to women, to make sure you NEVER see office.

Also, while I’m not surprised, I am nonetheless outraged that Governor Failin added this corollary to her blathering:

Okay, now, thank you so much for receiving that well. I didn’t know how that was gonna go over. And now, California, let’s see what a comment like I just made, how that is turned into whatever it’ll be turned into tomorrow with the newspaper.

What, you don’t expect the press to pick up on your deceit? The stakes are high Governor Failin. The press is rightfully going to report your outrageous lies, half-baked logic, and indecent campaigning, you power hungry freak. The only reason you don’t like the press is that every time you have to deal with them, they expose you for the dimwit that you are.

Bottom line, Governor Failin, you are a sick, sick, demented woman. And you get your education from cups.
